Our direct client is developing and deploying a suite of software tools, based on the latest Microsoft application and infrastructure architecture, to serve their international clientele.
The team needs to bring on a senior consultant for a 6-to-18 month contract who can play a key role on the architecture team as they continue to add new features and functionality to the software suite.
In this role you will:
- Work on proof-of-concepts for new elements of application and infrastructure
- Contribute to designs
- Perform code reviews and security analyses as it relates to the product
- Communicate with the infrastructure team on product deployments
- Create technical documentation related to the software architecture
- Present and lead discussions on architectural issues and POCs with members of the technical and customer teams.
We seek an experienced .net architect who has a strong foundation in the current Microsoft technologies and architectures, and is keeping abreast of the latest Microsoft developments and plans.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years Microsoft development experience
- Deep experience with Microsoft .net 3.5, SQL Server 2008, WCF, Silverlight
- Experience with latest network protocols, experience designing for both client/server and web-based application architectures, and experience working with infrastructure engineering teams.
- A dynamic, engaging personality and excellent communications skills, experienced and comfortable developing and delivering presentations
- Proven ability to lead, drive, and work across teams to get things done
- Strong Experience developing technical documentation at the architectural level, able to show artifacts from past projects as examples of work.
