We seek a senior technical project manager with strong Microsoft .net experience, for  a 6 month contract with probable extension.

In this role, you will manage software development projects to create software applications and tools used daily in critical functions throughout the firm and by the firm's consultants worldwide.  Your customers are internal partners and their field teams who use the software.  

You will take charge of specific tracks of a major software project that is being deployed in 2010.  You will work with the development teams, and coordinate with domestic and international departments/subsidiaries of the corporation, who will be receiving and deploying the new software.

We seek technical project managers with 5 + years of Fortune 500 or equivalent experience, or are from entreprenurial software company environments, where you had full-life cycle development management experience, and:

- Hands-on experience in Microsoft .net development.   Recent technical experience is a big plus, to be able to fully understand what the developers are doing.  

- A track record of working collaboratively with internal teams and on-shore/offshore vendors is necessary.  

- Posessing a high degree of responsibility, tenacity.  Being articulate and very diplomatic, with proven leadership skills.  We seek a quick-thinker with strong analytical abilities. 

- Any exposure to SAP is a plus 

The client site is on the border of Rockland and Bergen counties, 10 minutes from the Tappan Zee bridge.
