For our direct client in Stamford, we seek Perl consultants for long term (6 months +) project with likely extension or convert to a fulltime position.  Immediate interview and start.  Easy commute from CT or Manhattan on Metro-north, located right next to I-95 also.  

            Technical knowledge

·          Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

·          Comfortable working in both Unix and Windows

·          Strong Perl

·          Microsoft Excel/VBA.

·          Database experience - Sybase preferred

·          Some Java is a big plus 

            Business knowledge

·          Has experience of working in an Investment bank or Asset Management

           firm.  

·          Understanding of Product Control and some P&L, Reconciliation  

·          University graduate B.Sc. / M.Sc. in a quantitative subject.
