Our direct client in Northern NJ is rolling out a new international website, which uses Sharepoint as the document and content repository. In order to support the international users of the site, who can add and edit their own content, we seek a technical support specialist to provide support to these international users.
This is a 6-month contract with likely extension, immediate interview and start.
Experience desired:
· The candidate will need a strong Microsoft-centric skill set including strong knowledge of SharePoint 2007.
· Candidate needs to present solutions in a very client focused manner; must be able to trouble-shoot and multi-task; build relationships
· The candidate should have a strong and creative background and have a keen insight into the issues that are important within the industry especially with site performance.
· The candidate needs to have experience with keeping front end dependencies under control in an enterprise-wide internet environment. This includes but is not limited to performance enhancements with minimizing HTTP requests, JavaScript, CSS, and image optimization.
· In depth experience with Internet sites (preferably Internet sites built using SharePoint), Enterprise Search (SEO), Enterprise Content Management, Shared Services Provider
· Experience with Remedy or other Help Desk system is preferable.
· Must have a detailed and clear understanding of HTML, XSLT, XML, Cascading Style sheets (CSS), and CSS Sprites.
